Capacity Analysis Table Information

The values provided were obtained from tests conducted on calcite. Capacity values will increase as the feed particle size decreases. Capacity will also increase when the mill is operated without screens. The values were obtained from tests carried out at a constant rotational speed. Different output particle sizes can be achieved by changing the mill speed through a frequency control device.

Applications

It is used for the micronized grinding and granulation of minerals and chemical substances. Efficient grinding is achieved for minerals such as calcite, gypsum, lime, limestone, dolomite, borax, and similar materials. Special production can be carried out in compliance with food industry standards for chemicals, salt, spices, animal feed, and other food products.

Manufacturing

The PD 500 Pin Mill features a monoblock cast body and rotor assembly. All components of the machine are machined on CNC equipment. Wear-prone spare parts are continuously kept in stock. The grinding pins are manufactured from alloy steel castings and are heat-treated after processing to provide high wear resistance. Imported stainless steel perforated screens are used. Thanks to the replaceable screens inside the mill, final products with different particle sizes can be obtained. The table shows the final output particle sizes.

Storage and Transfer of Ground Products

The entire final product can be directly connected to a large silo for storage. A blower can be used to transfer the final product to a location away from the machine. If the final product needs to be classified, it can be separated into different particle sizes by means of Algaier-type screens or a separator, while the remaining material can be returned to the mill for further grinding.
